Cain Wilson is a twenty-five year old trans man that uses he / they pronouns located in Edgewater, FL and Statesboro, GA. Cain has combined his love of photography and writing—two art forms that make use of his keen sense of style. Cain is disabled and queer, straddling the lines of both communities. When not working, Cain has a love for poetry, nature walks, and playing video games.
(2013-2015) This degree has equipped Cain with basic knowledge including broadcast, journalism, and web design. Cain uses this degree to amplify his skills in photography and videography.
(2018-Present) This degree is currently in progress at the University of Central Florida. Cain’s major focuses in this degree have been poetry, script writing, and writing for magazines.
(2016-2017) This degree provided Cain with both technical & theoretical training in photographic technique. Cain is comfortable both in and out of the studio thanks to this degree.
Cain’s poem ‘Exit Wounds’ was published in the Summer 2019 edited of In Parentheses. This poem featured the topic of coming to term with one’s gender. The magazine the poem was printed in can be found here.
Cain Wilson worked on an internship at Daytona State College’s In Motion News from the years 2012 to 2014 and wrote various articles pertaining to both the community and social media. Cain’s work was written under his dead name and another pseudonym and can be found both here and here.

Cain is currently working for Wellness Hemp creating pro-cannabis content from an educational standpoint.
